This is a 6x scale 928 Classic Spaceship made by Lego. The picture was on a postcard from the '81/'82 Club Rally day in Leeds, UK. They havn't modelled the studs, so I don't think it's as cute as the x3 924 model blogged earlier, but it was produced 20+ years earlier!

I think you said there was a scaled up classic spaceship in the Bricks n Pieces magazine. If so, that would be nice to see.
