Large Duplo Ferrari

Dr. S. took this picture of his kids in a large scale Duplo Ferrari at a Toys 'R' Us in France .

It is approximately a 6 scale version, based on this duplo vehicle.

Thanks Dr. S.! As always, if you have anything about large scale models you would like to see added, please let us know!

Ferrari F1 Race Car

I thought I had posted about this before, but couldn't find it (please tell me if I'm wrong!). It is made by renowned LEGO sculpture artist Sean Kenney and it has approx 7,500 pieces. Just one criticism ... where's the logos :)

This car was featured in the August 2007 of Elle Magazine.

886 Space Buggy in 12x Scale

Derek Raycraft has some excellent scaled-up creations over at MOCpages.

Richard has already highlighted the 1620 Astro Dart set, but here is another of his 12x scale creations.

He has also made a classic space minifig in Red.

I would love to know how the gearing in the legs work as I am currently trying to sort something out like that for my 10 scale fireman, so if you are reading this Derek, please let me know!
Excellent work!

Fire Chief's Car

This is a project that I am currently working on. It is a ten scale vesion (ten times the dimension, 1000 times the volume!) of the classic set 6611 from 1981.

You can see the original set sat on the seat in the above picture, so this gives you some idea of the size!

All the pieces can be separated, just like the original set, and then fit together to make the car. I am currently working on the Fire Chief minifigure himself and will post here when it is finally completed.
